Synopsis of Play: Kevin, a Native American Indian, is extremely proud of his gas-guzzling SUV that he has named, “The Big Chief”. He crosses paths with a biker whom seems to do be doing nothing wrong. Kevin however, believes that the biker is convinced that riding a bike will save the world. The play follows Kevin’s rant about the supposed pointless fight against carbon emissions, pipelines, and deforestation. The play ends with a quote, “Because…everybody else still is, why do I have to be the one to quit?!”. The mentality of Kevin symbolizes the mentality of individuals who believe that the solution to climate change can fall to everyone else but themselves. [Taken from Where is the Hope?
